The Youth Collective is a hub designed to prevent adverse behaviours in youth. Rather than viewing youth as problems to be solved, it creates a space where they feel engaged by their environment. Inspired by hospitality environments designed for connection and growth, this project reimagines the traditional youth centre as a hub for social belonging, personal growth, and participation.

The Youth Collective’s material and finishes board draw inspiration from childhood's vibrant, playful palettes. Matte-textured fixtures are thoughtfully paired with contrasting materials, creating a tactile and visually bold environment. This layered design approach fosters a lively, sensory-rich atmosphere, encouraging youth to explore, interact, and connect with the space.
