MH WELLBEING CENTRE

Light at the end of the tunnel.

The MH Wellbeing Centre is an adaptive reuse project in Fremantle, Western Australia, designed to address the complexities of depression through a Crisis Stabilisation Clinic. The space embraces natural and artificial light as a metaphor for healing, fostering a sense of restoration and comfort for individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Thoughtfully curated interiors create an inviting and supportive environment, enhancing the therapeutic experience.

A combination of Enscape rendering and Photoshop is used to develop warm, calming tones, reinforcing the psychological connection between occupant and space.

Perspective views capture the reception area and ground-level treatment room, offering insight into the spatial experience.

The MH Wellbeing Centre’s material and finishes board is anchored in calming green hues, symbolising safety and reassurance. Geometric wall treatments soften the clinical aesthetic typically associated with healthcare spaces, while blonde-toned pine timber flooring fosters a sense of warmth and connection to the natural environment.
